FAQs
What types of ABA services does Skyward Spectrum offer?
Skyward Spectrum offers a full range of ABA services including comprehensive behavioral assessments, individualized ABA therapy programs, parent training, school consultation, caregiver coaching, behavior intervention planning, and ongoing progress monitoring. All services are delivered by trained professionals under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
What is included in a Skyward Spectrum ABA assessment?
Our ABA assessment process includes a detailed caregiver interview, direct observation of your child, standardized skill assessments, and review of prior evaluations. The assessment is conducted by a BCBA and results in a comprehensive report that outlines your child’s current skill levels, learning style, and specific goals that form the basis of their treatment program.
What is the BCBA’s role in Skyward Spectrum’s ABA services?
At Skyward Spectrum, our BCBAs design each child’s individualized treatment plan, train and supervise the RBTs who deliver direct therapy, conduct program reviews and data analysis, provide parent training, and serve as the primary clinical point of contact for families. BCBAs are actively involved in every client’s program on an ongoing basis.
Does Skyward Spectrum offer parent training as part of ABA services?
Yes, parent training is a required and fully integrated component of our ABA services. Parents receive regular training sessions with their BCBA to learn how to implement ABA strategies at home, support their child’s program goals throughout daily routines, and respond consistently to challenging behaviors. Parent training is authorized through insurance and included in your child’s treatment plan.
Can Skyward Spectrum’s ABA services support my child’s IEP at school?
Yes, Skyward Spectrum BCBAs can collaborate with your child’s IEP team to align therapy goals with educational goals, provide consultation to school staff, develop behavior plans for school settings, and share progress data to support IEP review meetings. This school-home collaboration helps your child generalize skills across all environments where they spend time.
