Overview

Skyward Spectrum is a family-owned ABA therapy practice committed to excellence and integrity in everything we do. We are looking for a new BCBA to help us make our services available and accessible to underserved communities in Georgia.

Responsibilities – Clinical

  • Build trusting, positive relationships with kids and parents
  • Serve as guide, role model, and inspiration to behavior technicians
  • Administer and oversee assessments
  • Create and modify behavior plans and skill acquisition protocols
  • Collaborate with staff and clinicians from other organizations
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide client advocacy
  • Consult with clients
  • Oversee data collection and program books
  • Check RBT session notes
  • Make or facilitate the making of all client materials
  • Conducts regular quality assurance checks
  • Conduct meetings with your team
  • Attend staff meetings monthly
  • Conduct staff trainings quarterly
  • Complete session notes within 2 business days
  • Provide a minimum of 100 billable hours per month
  • Ongoing training and supervision of RBT’s in implementation of ABA principles, methodology and behavior reduction strategies
  • Monthly evaluations of RBT’s on your team
  • Ensure requirements are met for each insurance company
  • Training RBT’s to implement treatment plans
  • Stay in compliance with the Ga Medicaid program modification(supervision) rate requirement. As stated in the Ga Medicaid manual, program modification must be between 5-20% of direct service. Supervision may not go under 5% nor go above 20% in a monthly period.
  • Ensuring that RBT’s carry out treatment plans
  • Assisting in onboarding and training of new hires
  • Keep current with the literature, new research findings and resources. In addition, continuing education courses to maintain BCBA certification are necessary (32 credits every 2 years)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Special Education or related human services field
  • Successful completion of internship and/or formal training in the analysis of behavior and instructional strategies training related to working with clients who have pervasive developmental disorders and related disorders, their parents, and other agencies working with client
  • Flexible availability which includes Monday through Friday 3pm-8pm EST at minimum
  • Completed Supervisor Training
  • Current BCBA certification
  • No sanctions or disciplinary actions on license and/or certification
  • Must live in the state of GA
