Part and Full-Time Registered Behavior Technicians
What the Role Involves
Registered Behavior Technicians deliver the day-to-day ABA sessions, working one to one with a child under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Because Skyward Spectrum is an in-home provider, the work happens in families' homes and in schools rather than in one building. That means travel across your assigned area, and it means being the person a family sees most often.
A typical day is two or three sessions, each with a different child, running the program your supervising BCBA has written and recording data as you go. That data is what the BCBA uses to decide whether a goal is working.
You do not need prior ABA experience to apply. You do need the RBT credential or a willingness to complete it, reliable transport, and the temperament for work that is patient rather than dramatic.

Schedule
- Parttime and fulltime available (currently seeking help for approximately 15 hours
- per week)
Work a standard schedule Monday – Friday, and/or choose a weekend/evening option - Flexible availability
Salary
$16 – $25/hour Monthly & Quarterly Bonuses

Location
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- RBT Certification (Preferred) or willing to become certified within 30 days
- Compassion and patience towards children with disabilities and their families
- Technologically proficient; familiarity with Apple and/or Android devices.
- 18 years of age
- Experience working with children
- Must be punctual, professional, and reliable
- Empathy, integrity, and a positive upbeat energy
- Personal means of transportation (willing to travel)
- Clear background check and drug test
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to move about the child’s home, playground or natural environments to engage in ABA Therapy with children.
- Must be able to ascend/descend stairs/ladders to engage children in gross motor activities.
- Must be able to position self on the floor to engage with children during activities.
- Experience/Education in field such as mental/behavioral health, social work, psychology, etc. Preferred (preferred).
- 6 months of ABA experience working with children with Autism (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy
- Implement the treatment plan created by your BCBA supervisor
- Travel to client homes
- Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
- Collect detailed behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and input into an electronic device, logging all hours and data accurately.
- Attend Monthly Staff Meetings
- Communicate with parents and with BCBA to improve treatment over time
- Take detailed session notes

Do I need to be certified before applying?
No. We consider applicants who hold the RBT credential and applicants willing to complete it. What matters more is reliability and the temperament for the work.
Where would I be working?
In families’ homes and in schools across your assigned area of Georgia. Skyward is an in-home provider, so there is no single building you report to.
Who supervises the work?
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst writes the treatment plan and supervises its delivery. You are never deciding clinical direction on your own.
